Sparky & Spike's
Tangy Pepper Relish

A little over two years ago Sparky and Spike were just two cranky old guys with a recipe for a pepper relish. Then we met Les Lehman. We were looking for someone to create a logo that we could stick on our jars in hopes of selling a few of them. What we ended up with was a completely branded product that to date has sold nearly 35,000 units.

We gave Les two old black-and-white pictures and told him that we wanted it to look “retro” and “cool”. In just a few days he came back to us with what ended up as our logo and a list of ideas for branding our product. The rest is history. Les created not merely our logo, but also our product label, our business card, or rack card, our truck graphics and our fantastic website. Just recently he helped us create Spud’s Doghouse, a holiday gift box that has taken the area by storm.

At virtually every event that we attend with our product we are asked by someone, “Who did your artwork? It’s fantastic!” Les’s abilities never cease to amaze us. If you can find another designer with both the artistic and technical skills that exceed Les Lehman’s, you’d better hire them.
